I have just finished reading your book, "Suicide of Reason..." and have recommended it to a number of my friends. I am going to be participating in a discussion group focused on your book this fall.
Your book offered an explanation of why Americans do not react more strongly to the internal threat of Jihad.
However, I am unable to find one of your references "A History of Christian Missions" by Kenneth Latourette, whom you attribute documenting the failure of Christian missionaries to convert Muslims compared to great success of Muslims in converting all races to Islam.
I was able to secure a copy of "A History of Christian Missions in China" by Kenneth Latourette published in 1926 but there no discussion of Muslim success in conversion compared to Christians.
I am very interested in this issue as I thought Christianity offered a freeing alternative to the highly legalistic requirements of Islam.
Are there other references you could point me to to resolve my questions about the effectiveness of Christianity in countering Islam?
